Day 15 of 30.

A Favorite Bible Verse.

"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"-Romans 8:31

I love this verse! It is so meaningful and helpful in all situations of life. Life has turns, twists, storms, valleys, and mountains that you must face. And through all of those trials and dilemmas, there is One who is always there for you.

Sometimes, through those situations we have enemies or people who will be against us. They hurt us-physically, emotionally, and mentally. But it does not matter. No really, it doesn't. It may hurt and yes it may seem like it matters, but if it is God's will and we are living for him then He is for us-on our side. So in that case, nothing else matters.
If we are at a fork in the road, and it seems like we are sitting on the fence with a decision. People are going to give you advice. Friends and family anf the advice is going to have two sides. Some people are going to tell you one thing and others another. But with God, it does not matter what their opinion is. It doesn't matter if they are against the decision. If God is for it, then it's the right thing to do.
In relationships, some may say you and your significant other don't belong together. But if God is for you, who can be against you? In making a crucial decision, like marriage, if God is for you, who can be against you? A job? Same thing. If God is for you, no one can be against you!
So remember this when you think there is no hope, people are pulling you down, life is spinning down the drain, and you think the grass is greener on the other side. Remember this: if you are on God's side, He's on yours. What shall we then say to these things (does it really matter)? Because if God is for us, who can be against us?
